The JJ/WBGSP, funded by the Government of Japan, enables mid-career professionals from developing countries to pursue graduate degrees in development-related fields at selected universities worldwide. Since 1987, more than 7,000 professionals from 160 countries have benefited. The program supports Master's and doctoral study in areas such as economic policy, infrastructure, human development, public administration, and tax policy. Preferred universities include programs in the US, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
