About This Scholarship

The Gates Cambridge Scholarship program was established in 2000 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with a donation of $210 million to the University of Cambridge. It is one of the most prestigious international scholarships in the world. Each year, approximately 80 scholarships are awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK for full-time postgraduate study in any subject at the University of Cambridge.
