The Chevening/GREAT Scholarships are a joint initiative between the UK Government's Chevening program and the GREAT Britain Campaign, in partnership with selected UK universities. These scholarships provide full tuition fee coverage for one-year Master's programs at specific UK universities for applicants from eligible countries. Each Chevening/GREAT scholarship is linked to a specific university and country, making them more targeted than the main Chevening Scholarship. Approximately 200 Chevening/GREAT scholarships are offered annually across 50+ countries.

  • Full tuition fee coverage at the partner UK university (some partnerships also include living costs)
  • Access to Chevening events and alumni network
  • Career development support
  • Networking with Chevening scholars from around the world
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and influence
  • Clear career plan showing how the degree connects to long-term goals
  • Strong commitment to returning home after the scholarship
  • Engagement with global priority areas (climate, tech, governance, health)
  • Ability to build and maintain professional networks
