The UK Government's flagship global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). Chevening enables outstanding emerging leaders from around the world to pursue a one-year Master's degree at any UK university. Since 1983, over 50,000 scholars from 160+ countries have benefited. Around 1,500 scholarships are awarded each year from over 60,000 applications, making it highly competitive but genuinely accessible to candidates from developing countries.
